Session#15 - SMART FARMING
OpenAgri Making digital farming accessible through customized open-source and open-hardware solutions.
The OpenAgri Open Call seeks small consortia of two entities: an ADSs provider (such as an SME, university, research institute, or non-profit) and an end-user (farm or agri-food organization). Their goal is to collaborate on creating new open-source ADSs based on mature cloud solutions, demonstrate both Edge and Cloud/mixed versions, and pilot them in areas with low connectivity to evaluate their performance.

Farmtopia Democratizing digital farming through smart solutions for small farms
The Farmtopia Open Call seeks to attract small consortia composed of an Agricultural Digital Solutions (ADS) provider (an SME) and an end-user (a small or medium farm). These partnerships will co-create and test smart solutions for small and medium farms, promoting awareness of the benefits of integrating ADS in agricultural operations and enhancing access to digital technologies. The Open Call will select nine new Sustainable Innovation Pilots (SIPs) in regions and crops not currently served by Farmtopia, leveraging the latest developments and innovations in the field.
