Support women-led startups in the GreenTech, AgriTech, and ClimateTech sectors
Type of projects to be funded: The call aims to support women-led startups in the GreenTech, AgriTech, and ClimateTech sectors. The selected startups will receive funding and tailored support to enhance their market presence, accelerate growth, and engage with investors. The program consists of two phases:
Phase 1 – Nurture: A 3-month strategy and empowerment program for 20 startups, each receiving €5,000.
Phase 2 – Bloom: A 4-month acceleration program for 10 selected startups, each receiving €50,000.
Sectors / domain: GreenTech, AgriTech, ClimateTech
Individual or consortium: The call is open to individual startups that are women-led and meet the eligibility criteria.
Specific eligibility requirements:
- The startup must be women-led (CEO, CTO, or CSO must be a woman).
Must operate in the GreenTech, AgriTech, or ClimateTech sectors.
Should be a deep-tech startup developing advanced and disruptive technologies.
- Must have been founded before 1st January 2024.
- Must be legally established in the EU or Associated Countries, or the majority of its equity must be owned by a woman with EU or Associated Country nationality.
- At least 60% of selected startups will be from moderate/emerging innovator countries.
- Preference is given to startups at TRL 6-8 or those that have raised at least €300,000 in public or private funding.
Specific topics or challenges: The call focuses on sustainability, climate innovation, and technological advancements in environmental and agricultural sectors.
Projects duration: Phase 1 is 3 months, and Phase 2 is 4 months. Total program duration: 7 months
Budget, funding rates and payment conditions:
Funding rate: 100%
Budget conditions / limitations:
- Phase 1 20 startups will receive €5,000 each for strategic development.
- Phase 2: 10 startups will receive €50,000 each for scaling and investor engagement.
Payments:
- Phase 1: Full €5,000 grant upon signing the sub-grant agreement.
- Phase 2: 50% upon signing the sub-grant agreement; 40% after a mid-term evaluation; 10% after participating in the final showcase event.
