SPADE - Call for evaluators
SPADE is seeking independent experts to evaluate Open Call #2 proposals, offering a paid opportunity to shape the future of drone technologies in agriculture while gaining recognition and expanding your professional network.
SPADE is looking for independent evaluators for Open Call #2. Evaluators will review proposals to ensure a fair and high-quality selection process. Candidates should have experience evaluating technological projects and expertise in drone technologies, maintaining neutrality with no ties to applicants or the SPADE consortium. By joining, evaluators will contribute to advancing drone technology in agriculture, forestry, and livestock, gain recognition in an EU innovation project, expand their professional network, and receive financial compensation for their work. It’s an opportunity to shape sustainable solutions in resource management. An evaluator may be responsible for assessing up to 30 proposals. However, the exact number of applications assigned to each evaluator will depend on various factors, including: • The availability of evaluators • The total number of applications submitted Applications evaluation by Evaluators: 10.06.2025 – 30.06.2025 17:00 (CET)* * Evaluations must be completed and submitted between 10.06.2025 – 30.06.2025 (17:00 CET). During the following twenty-five days (01.07.2025 – 25.07.2025), evaluators may be contacted to reassess applications in case an appeal is submitted.

Expert profile
The evaluator may be an independent expert acting individually or an expert representing an organization. Relevant experience in evaluating and managing technological projects, particularly in drones or related technologies, with the technical competence to understand SPADE architecture and assess proposals based on technical excellence, feasibility, and planning quality. Evaluators are expected to possess experience in Innovation, Commercialisation and Technology Transfer.
