The Open Horizons Open Call #3 aims to support women-led digital and deep-tech startups in Europe through financial backing and corporate collaboration.
TYPE OF PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED: The call funds projects that involve the development of tailored solutions to corporate-defined challenges, focusing on digital and deep-tech innovations led by women entrepreneurs.
SECTORS / DOMAIN: The targeted sectors include digital and deep-tech domains such as AI, advanced computing, life sciences, energy, and clean technologies.
INDIVIDUAL OR CONSORTIUM: Individual startups are eligible to apply; consortia is not allowed
SPECIFIC ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Eligible applicants must be women-led startups established in EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries, with less than €1M in equity raised and operational for less than six years.
SPECIFIC TOPICS OR CHALLENGES: The call is focused on defined topics, addressing corporate challenges in areas like AI, IoT, and sustainability.
PROJECTS DURATION: The programme is structured into a 6-month duration, including a 1-month inception stage and a 5-month piloting stage.
BUDGET, FUNDING RATES AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS:
Funding rate: 100%.
Budget conditions / limitations: Up to €55,000 per startup.
Payments: Disbursed based on performance and engagement with corporate partners, including participation in programme activities and final demo day.
