MANUFACTergy FACTORY CHECK-IN - Open Call
Supports manufacturing SMEs in the furniture and construction sectors to develop an energy-efficient DESIGN STUDY for the adoption of new processes and advanced technologies.
Type of projects to be funded: Development of a DESIGN STUDY consisting of a customised, implementation-oriented transition plan aimed at improving energy and resource efficiency and preparing the adoption of new processes and advanced technologies, delivered through consultancy services in collaboration with a selected solution provider.
Sectors / domain: Manufacturing sector, specifically furniture manufacturing and manufacturing of building components and construction-related products.
Individual or consortium: A single SME applicant in mandatory partnership with one independent solution provider (energy, digital, research or technology expert).
Specific eligibility requirements: Applicants must qualify as SMEs under EU definition and be established in an EU Member State (including OCTs) or in a non-EU country participating in the Single Market Programme. The SME must operate in the targeted manufacturing sectors and submit only one proposal. A Declaration of Honour is mandatory. Civil applications only.
Specific topics or challenges: Assessment of energy and resource consumption, identification of operational inefficiencies, development of a technology and innovation transition roadmap, and preparation for the adoption of advanced, energy-efficient and digital technologies through a concrete DESIGN STUDY.
Projects duration: Minimum 4 months and maximum 6 months. Completed before than 30th November 2026.
Budget, funding rates and payment conditions:
Funding rate: Up to 90% of total eligible project costs (maximum €10,000 lump sum per project).
Budget conditions / limitations: At least 10% co-financing by the SME (as financial resources invested in the projects); minimum 75% of the grant must be allocated to the selected solution provider; maximum 37 projects expected to be funded under a total budget of €370,000.
Payments: 100% of the approved lump sum paid after approval of the Final Technical Report.
