Enhance New European Bauhaus Call for Partners 2025

Seeks to foster collaboration among EIT Community NEB partners to scale up or replicate innovative solutions addressing urban and rural challenges through sustainability, aesthetics, and inclusivity.

The Enhance New European Bauhaus Call for Partners 2025 invites proposals to scale up or replicate promising projects previously funded under the Connect NEB and Co-Create NEB calls. This initiative aims to foster collaboration within the EIT Community NEB ecosystem, addressing key thematic axes of the New European Bauhaus movement: reconnecting with nature, regaining a sense of belonging, prioritising those in need, and promoting long-term, sustainable industrial ecosystems.

Type of projects to be funded: The call supports the scaling up or replication of successful 2023–2024 Connect NEB and Co-Create NEB projects. Projects must integrate the New European Bauhaus (NEB) core values—sustainability, aesthetics, inclusion—and principles—multilevel, participatory, transdisciplinary. The goal is to amplify impact within the original location or extend it to new areas. Projects must deliver tangible outputs such as nature-based solutions, co-designed public spaces, or social and educational engagement activities.

Sectors / domain: Urban development, public spaces, community engagement, circular economy, social innovation, and sustainable design.

Individual or consortium: Proposals must be submitted by consortia of 2-4 entities, including at least one eligible EIT Community NEB partner.

Specific eligibility requirements: Open exclusively to organisations listed in Annex I that implemented Connect NEB or Co-Create NEB projects in 2023–2024, and have not yet participated in Enhance NEB calls. Entities must be based in an EU Member State or Horizon Europe-associated country. Temporary restrictions apply to certain Hungarian universities.

Specific topics or challenges: Projects must address at least one of four NEB challenges:
1. Reconnecting with nature
2. Regaining a sense of belonging
3. Prioritising places and people most in need
4. Promoting long-term, integrated thinking in industrial ecosystems

Projects duration: Up to 7 months, from May 2025 to November 2025.
