COP-PILOT 1st Open Call
The COP-PILOT Open Call #1 funds projects up to €200,000 to upscale Cloud-Edge-IoT solutions in specific sectors like energy and agriculture.
TYPE OF PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED: Projects that upscale Cloud-Edge-IoT solutions in collaboration with COP-PILOT’s cross-domain pilots, addressing specific clusters such as mining, smart buildings, energy, or agriculture.
SECTORS / DOMAIN: Targeted sectors include mining, smart cities, energy, agriculture, and manufacturing.
INDIVIDUAL OR CONSORTIUM: Both individual SMEs and SME-led consortia of at least two partners are eligible, with no maximum number of partners required (no need either to be from different countries).
SPECIFIC ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Eligible applicants must be established in EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated countries.
SPECIFIC TOPICS OR CHALLENGES: The call is focused on defined topics within specific clusters, applicants must address on of the following: business integration in mining, smart sustainable IoT Solutions, agritech transformation and sustainability/edge inteligence for grid reliability and smart vineyards and sustainbale winery ecosystems.
PROJECTS DURATION: Projects are expected to last 8 months, with an additional 2 months for reporting. Expected start is on June 2026.
BUDGET, FUNDING RATES AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS:
Funding rate: 100% of eligible costs.
Budget conditions / limitations: Maximum funding per project is €200,000 (maximum subcontracting of 20% and indirect costs must not exceed 25% of direct costs). Up to 2 funded projects per cluster
Payments: 50% upon contract signature and 50% upon final report approval.
