EIT Ignite NEB Open Call for Hosts
Funding supports partners or consortia to deliver NEB ideation events and an incubation programme creating new entities implementing New European Bauhaus solutions.
This call seeks organising partners or consortia to implement the 2026 Ignite NEB programme, combining celebration and ideation events with an incubation phase. The objective is to foster entrepreneurship aligned with New European Bauhaus values and generate new entities addressing local challenges. Selected applicants will deliver events and an eight-month incubator supporting solution development and testing.
TYPE OF PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED: Organisation and delivery of Ignite NEB programmes including ideation events (with pre-event sessions, coaching, and stakeholder engagement) and an eight-month incubation programme supporting teams to prototype, test, and develop solutions aligned with NEB values.
SECTORS / DOMAIN: New European Bauhaus-related domains including sustainability, culture, creativity, social innovation, entrepreneurship, and innovation ecosystems.
INDIVIDUAL OR CONSORTIUM: Both single applicants and consortia are allowed; consortia must have a maximum of 3 independent organisations with no affiliated links.
SPECIFIC ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must be public or private legal entities established in EU Member States, Overseas Countries and Territories, or Horizon Europe associated countries; applicants must be based in the country where activities take place. Potential applicants are either public or private entities (foundations, associations, collectives, organizations, consultancies, business accelerators, universities, research centres, local and regional authorities, as well as bodies affiliated to them.
SPECIFIC TOPICS OR CHALLENGES: Projects must address one NEB Thematic Axis: reconnecting with nature; regaining a sense of belonging; prioritising places and people in need; or fostering long-term, life-cycle and integrated industrial thinking.
PROJECTS DURATION: From 1 July 2026 to 31 December 2027, including an eight-month incubation programme.
BUDGET, FUNDING RATES AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS:
Funding rate: 100% lump sum.
Budget conditions / limitations: Maximum €52,000 per project divided in €24,000 for Ignite Events, €20,000 for the incubator programme and €8,000 for support prizes.
Payments: Lump sum paid in instalments (50% at start, 40% after intermediate report, 10% after final report), conditional on deliverables.
