AUTOASSESS Open Call 2 for Tech Innovators

TYPE OF PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED: The call seeks innovative technology solutions aligned with the project's use cases and challenges, focusing on autonomous inspection systems for marine structures.
SECTORS / DOMAIN: Marine infrastructure inspection, autonomous robotics, and related technological domains.
INDIVIDUAL OR CONSORTIUM: Applications are open to single legal entities (startups or SMEs) or consortia of up to two entities SMEs/startups.
SPECIFIC ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Eligible applicants include entities from EU Member States and Horizon Europe Associated countries, with specific conditions for UK and Swiss entities to ensure their own funding.
SPECIFIC TOPICS OR CHALLENGES: The call is focused on defined challenges such as NDT tools for aerial robots, remote inspection support, autonomous patrolling concepts, vessel structural condition analysis and hotspot identification, qualitative and quantitative assessment of structural integrity, mini sensor for autonomous drone inspection and graphical user inteface.
PROJECTS DURATION: Projects are expected to last nine months, divided into three stages: Plan (1 month), Develop & Integrate (6 months) and Assess (2 months)..
BUDGET, FUNDING RATES AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS:
Funding rate: Startups at 100%, SMEs at 70%.
Budget conditions / limitations: Up to €150,000 per project.
Payments: Made in lump sums at the end of each stage (40%, 40% and 20%; respectively), contingent on milestone achievements.
