CYberSynchrony Open Call 3: Cross-border Coordination aims to enhance cybersecurity collaboration among EU Member States by fostering mutual assistance and coordinated response mechanisms. This initiative supports projects that enable secure information exchange and collective responses to cyber threats, aligning with the EU’s digital infrastructure security needs.
TYPE OF PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED: Projects should focus on developing or enhancing platforms for real-time threat intelligence sharing, organizing joint cybersecurity exercises, and creating incident response coordination mechanisms.
SECTORS / DOMAIN: The call targets cybersecurity across all sectors, focusing particularly on those governed by the NIS2 Directive.
INDIVIDUAL OR CONSORTIUM: Only consortia (2 or 3 entities) are eligible, and the coordinator must be an SME.
SPECIFIC ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Participants (SMEs) must represent or be affiliated with a Member State's government, relevant cybersecurity agency, or a recognized research institution. Experience in international cyber collaboration is advantageous.
SPECIFIC TOPICS OR CHALLENGES: The call focuses on mutual assistance, best practice sharing, and coordinated response mechanisms among Member States.
PROJECTS DURATION: The duration of the projects is set to 8 months.
BUDGET, FUNDING RATES AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS:
Funding rate: 100%
Budget conditions / limitations: Each consortium can receive between €100,000 and €200,000.
Payments: The payment is structured in three parts: 30% prefinancing, up to 40% interim, and the remaining upon project completion.
