7th REINFORCING Open Call on "Responsible Security"
REINFORCING supports organizations and institutions in Europe to transition to a new paradigm where responsibility and openness drive research and innovation processes.
The 7th REINFORCING Open Call on "Responsible Security" is inviting proposals to advance the integration of responsible and open research and innovation (ORRI) practices. The call aims to foster projects that drive fair and inclusive green and digital transitions by promoting transparency and shared responsibility among institutions in Europe.
TYPE OF PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED: The call seeks projects that implement ORRI activities, focusing on new modes of research and innovation that support just transitions.
SECTORS / DOMAIN: The call is open to various sectors, emphasising projects that align with the principles of responsible security and innovation.
INDIVIDUAL OR CONSORTIUM: Both individual entities and consortia can apply.
SPECIFIC ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Eligible applicants must be legal entities established in EU countries or associated states, including CSOs, NGOs, higher education institutions, research centres, and SMEs. They must not have conflicts of interest with the REINFORCING consortium .
SPECIFIC TOPICS OR CHALLENGES: Projects must address the integration of responsible security measures within their research and innovation activities .
PROJECTS DURATION: ORRI Booster projects are expected to last 8 months.
BUDGET, FUNDING RATES AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS:
Funding rate: Not specified
Budget conditions / limitations: Up to €20,000 per proposal
Payments: For ORRI Booster grants, 50% is paid at the start and 50% at the end.
KEY DATES: Calls will be launched every four months, alternating between ORRI Booster and Incubator calls .
