PhotonQBoost Open Call 2 invites small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in the Photonics and Quantum sectors to apply for funding aimed at fostering the development of innovative solutions, enhancing resilience through training, and participating in strategic missions aimed at strengthening sectoral engagement.
TYPE OF PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED: The call seeks projects that propose Photonics and/or Quantum solutions addressing key technological challenges across strategic sectors. Grants are available for solutions, training and services, and participation in missions.
SECTORS / DOMAIN: The initiative focuses on sectors such as Advanced Manufacturing, Agrifood, Life Science and Health, Mobility, and Digital Technologies.
INDIVIDUAL OR CONSORTIUM: The call is specifically targeted at individual SMEs, rather than consortiums.
SPECIFIC ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Eligible applicants must be SMEs legally established in an EU Member State or a Horizon Europe Associated Country, having been established before 17 July 2025. They must meet the EU definition of an SME and have no conflicts of interest with PhotonQBoost partners.
