ADT4Blue Open Call 3 is designed to accelerate the digital transformation and sustainability within the Blue Economy through the adoption of Advanced Digital Technologies (ADTs). This initiative seeks innovative ideas that address key challenges in the Blue Economy, providing training and mentoring to enhance participants' entrepreneurial and technical skills.
Type of projects to be funded: The initiative will select projects that propose innovative solutions using Advanced Digital Technologies to tackle predefined challenges in the Blue Economy.
Sectors / domain: Blue Economy, including aquaculture, communication, ocean literacy, monitoring, conservation, renewable energies, shipping, and port activities.
Individual or consortium: Both individual and consortium applications are accepted. Each applicant or consortium can submit only one proposal.
Specific eligibility requirements: Eligible applicants include SMEs, startups, entrepreneurs, technologists, higher education students, researchers, or alumni, and domain experts from EU or Horizon Europe Participating countries.
Specific topics or challenges: Proposals must address one specific challenge among those listed, ranging from equitable access to information in aquaculture to enhancing the resilience of offshore structures.
Projects duration: The programme duration is 6 months, divided into two SPRINTs of 3 months each, focusing on training and mentoring.
Budget, funding rates and payment conditions: The programme does not deliver funding to third parties, only services.
